Suez Canal blocked by container ship

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

As you have probably already learned from the media, the Suez Canal is currently blocked by a stuck container ship.

The Egyptian authorities are confident that the blockade can be resolved within the next few days. By then, over 200 other ships have already been stowed around the canal. Avoiding the traffic jam would extend the transport route by 10 to 15 days. This is why this solution is not being used at the moment.

If this blockage also affects your shipment, we ask for a little patience.
